Richard Masloski
Born in Cornwall, New York in 1954, Richard Masloski has devoted his entire artistic life to embodying in sculpture the ideals and principles that have made this country great. He has consistently striven to accurately and poetically capture in bronze the American experience, both in it historical and legendary aspects. In addition to showing his work in numerous galleries and exhibitions, the sculptor is proud to list a number of public works to his credit:

the Westchester County Police Memorial
a portrait bust of Hamilton Fish Sr. for the Veterans Administration Hospital at Castle Point New York, the Town of Wappinger
War Memorial a portrait bust of President Truman in the library of the George C. Marshall Foundation in Virginia
a life-size Rip van Winkle for Irvington
the Gold Star Mothers Monument in Yonkers and a life-size Abraham Lincoln for Peekskill, NY.
This bronze was purchased in 2004 from a retired gallery owner in Irvington, NY that still represented the artist.. Her gallery was located just a short ride from the home of Washington Irving. It is an Artists' Proof and in mint condition. It has always been in possession of the only owner.
