Victor Dewayne Lemmon was born Feb. 21, 1937, in Silver City, Utah
s a civilian, he went through the Department of the Air Force to become a general high quality operator to work on the underground missile sites in various states.
In his youth, he caught wild horses with his family off the Utah desert to break and sell as rodeo stock.
His family said he had a great love of horses his entire life and loved to ride the mountains of Wyoming - packing in, hunting, camping and fishing.
He and his wife, Pauline, were self-employed business owners.
They owned the Grub and Tub and the Laudromat/ Car Wash in Dubois for many years. Mr. Lemmon successful artist, both as a painter and a sculptor, for which he received many awards for over the years.
His greatest accomplishments were the presentation of his bronze "40th President, Lot of Grit" to Ronald Reagan while he was in office and God's Country a prolific sculpture.
He also co-authored the book "Old Guide Remembers, the Young Guide Finds Out" with his old friend and teacher, Joe Back.
